In 2018 the brand joined Mowbray Leather Goods but Adam remains at the forefront of all design-related decisions. Combining forces has allowed Cherchbi to grow into the highest quality and most sustainable version of itself.
The main design principle for Cherchbi has and always will be intuitive functionality. The modern designs take inspiration from military and utilitarian styles and each bag goes through a strict design process to ensure they are both stylish and ergonomically sound.
The brand is steeped in heritage and the iconic woollen cloth that makes the bags is no different. AW Hainsworth wool is milled out of West Yorkshire and has for the past 236 years been the clothier of choice for British royalty as well as military and uniformed servicemen and women. Produced in one of the country’s last remaining leather goods factories, Cherchbi’s leather is sourced from the finest Italian leather merchants and the bags are then bench-made by highly skilled craftsmen. With a Cherchbi bag you get a highly sustainable investment that lasts a lifetime.
