Epara is a well-considered inclusive brand introducing the consumer to the best organic and natural ingredients from Africa. Epara means “to cocoon oneself” in the Nigerian dialect of Ebira. 

The beginning of Epara stemmed from Founder and Entrepreneur Ozohu Adoh in her quest to create skincare that caters to the unique issues affecting women of colour, which eventually led to a bespoke beauty brand created especially to nourish and protect. Suffering from dry, uneven skin and growing tired of searching for products to treat her concerns, Ozohu decided to develop her own. 

Returning to her roots, she began to research organic ingredients from Africa and soon found a formula that worked wonders on her skin and, within weeks, the irritability and sensitivity had gone and her face was soft and clear. 

Nowadays, Epara develops all their formulas within the UK and specialised in formulas to help women of colour embrace their beautiful skin and improve how it feels. Helping with issues likes dryness, discolouration, free radicals and air pollution.
