A wonderful, innovative way to learn Italic Calligraphy online with materials being sent to your door. This online course is ideal for beginners or people wanting to improve their flair and style. Classes are flexible to find a time that suits you and split into comfortable one-hour lessons over four sessions. All classes take place via Zoom, where you will be sent an invitation code once your booking date and time has been agreed upon.

Each week will consist of the following:
Week 1: Your introduction to Italic Calligraphy, how to hold our pen and getting the nib to angle correctly. You will also learn basic writing exercises and letter structure.
Week 2: You'll progress to capitals and study ways to gain confidence in your letter structure.
Week 3: Your second last week will be taking you through how to complete style and flourish ideas and how effective size change can be using the different nib sizes provided.
Week 4: Your final session will see you put all your lessons together and create your very own masterpiece combining your understanding of design and layout.
